Iulian Smaranda is human. What do I do? I don’t hate Mondays. I love to wake up every morning, and thanks to God, I have the opportunity to live one new day as an unknown journey, to meet new experiences, people and do exciting things.

Since I was a child, I was sure my goal is to become someone, a human who will work with other humans. I like to be very close to other people, to understand their needs and do something for them. At this moment, working in HR consultancy, I think I am doing my mission. It’s not everything, and I think I have the power to do more, maybe to be involved in many projects where I can bring my creativity.

One day, I wish to talk not about work-life balance but to talk about passion for creating, do what you love, and bring something valuable to humanity.
But being realistic, at this moment, work-life balance means for me to do my job with a smile on my face, with my passion, and after I finish my task to have enough energy to enjoy with my family, friends, nature, and other things I like to do.
It is essential for me to wake up in the morning with trust for a new day.

Responsibility, enthusiasm and passion. With these ingredients, I have that feeling I can help other people to achieve something they need, something maybe they lost, or something they were afraid to do. But not only this, as a mentor, I had the opportunity to learn from others. So, to be more specific, for me, mentor means to share and receive.

Trust in yourself. If someone, whatever how important or what it means in your life, will say you are not good enough, stop for a moment and think about you, talk to yourself. You will see the answer is another. You have to follow this. Talk to the child from inside of your heart, hug him, and move forward. There is nothing to lose. It is about courage and winning. Whatever you will choose, you have already won.
Be your own storyteller of your life!
