..what a difficult question…. :)… .Like each of us, Cristina has several roles in this life, which she strives to fulfill as beautifully as possible: the role of a member of the community in which she lives, sister, girlfriend, daughter, manager, friend, colleague…
For several months, after many years of business development in various large companies, I am involved in a new project that consists of the development from scratch in Romania of a company that already exists abroad and is successful… ..one of my mantras is to leave the places you go through a little better than they were before you came… .for this reason, this project attracted me. I like it very much because it is an opportunity to do things well, different maybe, to give what I know better for the story to be a success in Romania.
Otherwise, I'm addicted to sports (I do sports at least 3 times a week), I like to read, I love to travel and discover new places and people - this has enriched me a lot over time, I like to learn, I always learn something - I started learning Spanish a year ago, and I am passionate about psychology and coaching.
I finished an EMBA last year at one of the best coaching schools in our country, Metasysteme Coaching School, and now I am in the process of training as a coach.

When I was a child, I knew I wanted to be a lawyer because it seemed like a nice thing to defend innocent people… )but … along the way, after I graduated from Bucharest University of Economic Studies, I had various roles in various companies. I know that somewhere along the way, being very ambitious and conscientious, I started very much to want to be "Mrs. Director" - it seemed to me that it was a role that involved authority and respect from others, but also a lot of professionalism and responsibilities…. but now I realize that it was just a strong need for external validation that I had.
Today I consider that what is written on the business card is much less important. It is much more important how you do the things you do every day: how much passion you put in, how much you get involved, what is the energy you transmit to those around you, how authentic you are, what you leave behind, how the place where you work helps you to develop.

I have come to believe very strongly in a balance that must exist between personal life and professional life, any excess in one area of life shows a lack in other aspects of life, and that is why I think it is essential to look at ourselves honestly and ask ourselves if, by burying ourselves in something, we are actually running away from something in our life that we don't like or want to hide from others or ourselves.
I believe that a balanced personal life, moments of rest, peace, joy, harmonious relationships with family are fuel for a professional life in which to succeed, perform, and achieve your goals.

The role of mentor sounds a bit pompous to me . Still, it honors me and forces me, in the interactions I have when I wear this hat, to forget about myself, and the things I know or think will work regarding a specific scenario, and to be present in the interaction with the other, to listen to her/him and to guide her/him (creating a space of safety and trust), towards the solution suitable for her/him and the context in which he is. We have the answers and the solutions in ourselves, only sometimes we forget that, and we need someone to guide us in there or give us confidence that we can achieve what we set out to do.

I think I'd instead let a poem that I really like, written by Rumi, speak for me.
This being human is a guest house.
Every morning a new arrival.
A joy, a depression, a meanness,
some momentary awareness comes
as an unexpected visitor.
Welcome and entertain them all!
Even if they’re a crowd of sorrows,
who violently sweep your house
empty of its furniture,
still treat each guest honorably.
He may be clearing you out
for some new delight.
The dark thought, the shame, the malice,
meet them at the door laughing,
and invite them in.
Be grateful for whoever comes,
because each has been sent
as a guide from beyond.
