I am Daniela Șerban, human being before anything, mom of 2 great children, with more than 10 years' professional background in Human Resources.
I've enjoyed carrying out specific activities in all areas of HR field. This way, I had the opportunity to design, coordinate and assess - in a dynamic and creative way - a diversity of projects related to recruitment and selection of personnel, training and development, employer branding, payroll, industrial relations, personnel administration, corporate social responsibility, people motivation and retention, performance management and others.
What I enjoyed the most during these years was the training and development part, to support people in increasing skills and self-confidence, to help them out clarifying what they really want when it comes to personal and professional development, and to get them through a growth process by mentoring and coaching them.
On my greatest achievements list, I would mention my contribution to the integration of the teams I worked with and to the professional (and personal) growth of people I had the chance to cooperate with along all these years.
Since 2019, I started my own business as a trainer and HR consultant, and later on I've got certified as a personal growth advisor and as a professional coach and speaker. This way, I aimed to gain more specific skills that I need so to support people the best I can in their career development path and so that they achieve a life-time balance that especially moms are missing it so much.
My training, coaching and mentoring programs target 3 main pillars: self-knowledge, career and communication.

Career & Life Coaching, HR Consulting, Communication and Leadership Training

I am first and foremost human being, a woman, a wife, a mother of two who stimulates me to be the best version of myself. Professionally speaking, I am a trainer, personal development consultant, certification coach, mentor, and human resources consultant. With a career of 10 years + in HR, I felt that my mission is to facilitate the learning and development of those who want to turn their dreams into a career, whether it is a job in a corporation or their own business.
I also firmly believe that education is a source of good in the world. I support it through my activities, including volunteering to help young people in an association I co-found.

Part of my motivation to develop actions aimed at young people and in the career area is related to my path. I always knew that I wanted to work with and support people since high school when I started supporting my colleagues on homework, and on the other hand, I had somehow become, unofficially, the confidante of the class and of the group of friends. 😊 But I didn't know exactly what my job would be. I tried, from the faculty benches, one by one: customer care, human resources, education, human resources again (it stayed in my heart forever, that's clear), then consulting and training, and finally, coaching. I no longer consider that I graduated 3 faculties, the first 2 for lack of guidance and vocational counseling, but especially for lack of self-confidence, and the third for reasons of "adult interest in professional retraining."
I feel that this is my calling: to come to the aid of people, especially women and young people, to find themselves, to orient themselves knowingly, to improve their skills on their way to success, and to acquire and implicitly maintain balance in personal life. No matter what title my role will play and in what organizational framework (or not) I will carry it out, this is what it is about, and it has always been in me, only I was not always aware of it. It took me about 30 years! 😊

It is one of the aspects that I strongly support in my activity because I have been a "workaholic" for some years. The negative effects have not been long in coming regarding my health, my relationship with my family, and the people dearest to me.
Balance is necessary for everything, and the relationship between professional and personal life is no exception. I consider work-life balance as the key to success in life, no matter how everyone defines their success, because behind any professional is definitely a human being with multiple roles and responsibilities. Still, it is a single individual, and if the individual fails to find and keep this balance, it will be like a jigsaw puzzle with missing pieces, suffering, we can say, so it will create an imbalance, which in the medium and long term will impact it in (almost) all areas of life.

When I say mentor, I inevitably think of those who have fully contributed to my shaping as a person and as a professional, to the way they have managed to enlighten my path to enlighten my mind and spirit, and the imprint left is powerful.
I also want to do this for as many young people and women as possible, who, over the years, looking back, will feel that the light accompanies them, even if I am no longer part of their daily lives.
Every feedback I receive from those with whom I have had the opportunity to work under the power of mentoring honors me and encourages me to continue to do what I do because it brings value.

Let’s make our existence count! We all can make a difference in this world - what if we think to make a positive difference, not any difference?
Live intentionally!
